About Me

A guy who's good to know

If you want to know about the Dallas area — from the real estate market to the economy to the best restaurants — then let's get to know each other.
Buying or selling real estate can be a big deal, both financially and emotionally. Even after fifteen years as a real estate broker, I still learn something new with each and every transaction. Let me put that experience — along with my unique knowledge of the Dallas market — to work for you.

Dallas born

I'm a Dallas native and a second-generation Dallasite. I not only know the best neighborhoods in the area, but I also have my favorites — as well as a few hidden gems. When you work with me, you can find the right home in the right location faster.

During my formative years my family lived in Oak Cliff. Later, we moved to Highland Park, where I graduated from Highland Park High School. After college at Texas State University (formerly SWTSU), I returned to Dallas and lived in the Village Apartments, Kessler Park, and Oak Lawn before settling down in the M Streets — where I've lived since 1990.

My clients come from all over Dallas, the North Texas area, and beyond. Some know Big D like the back of their hands, and others are looking for a guide to help them find their perfect neighborhood. Either way, I'm proud to share my love of all things Dallas.

Business-bred

I'm a veteran of the service industry — having worked as a general manager of a document storage company and the top salesperson for DFW's largest locally owned payroll-processing firm. My client's appreciate my business background — mostly because it means I know their time is valuable. So I'll work to make your experience efficient and enjoyable.

Since 2012, I've managed the process of buying, remodeling, renting, and selling my own properties — from contracting with tradespeople to executing residential leases. So matter where you are in your buying or selling journey, I've been there.

People first

I not only want to be a knowledgeable agent and a sound businessperson — but also a trusted advisor. I'll present you with options. discuss the pros and cons of each, and give you what you need to make an informed decision. It's served me well, because much of my work is done for repeat clients, referrals, and even the family members of satisfied customers.

When the local real estate markets were in crisis after 2007, I advised a number of clients not to sell their homes,  but rather to lease them until the real estate market improved. I leased their properties for them, and then helped them sell when the time was right.

When I helped a young woman buy her first home in the M Streets, she then referred me to her brother, and eventually to her parents — who sold their family home in Plano and relocated to a custom-built home in Lakewood.

My clients and I do some of our most important work over coffee, on the tennis court, or in some other casual, comfortable spot. I love showing off my favorite sites to folks who are new to Dallas, and I'm always open to discovering something new.

The point is that it's all about relationships. And while a lot of people might say it, I prefer to live it.
